This is rapidly turning into one of my favourite examples of an Achievable Layout. Scott Thornton is modelling the 12-mile Milan Branch of the Iowa Interstate in HO scale. It’s a modern branch, with a nice variety of customers, and Scott is taking a thoughtful approach to bringing it to life.
Click on the image, below, to visit his website. You’ll find a menu dropdown in the upper right of Scott’s site, where you can access his blog…
Enjoy if you visit!
I couldn’t agree more with you on this one. For a pile of reasons, I’m a fan of this layout. I had been following his thread on MRH but hadn’t realize he’d started a website.
Off to go check that out.
Thanks
Chris
I did visit.
And I did indeed enjoy.
Thanks for sharing, Trevor. Scott’s blog is well done! I’ve always thought if I get into HO standard gauge, it would be a fun challenge to do a small branch in Proto 87. Seeing his blog has stirred the fires! Someday!
