CNR in Ontario

I want to give a big “Attaboy!” to Jeffrey Smith, who runs the CNR in Ontario website. As the name suggests, this site is absolutely packed with great information about the Canadian National Railway in Ontario. What’s more, I ask many questions on this blog and the answers are often found on Jeffrey’s site.

As an example, of what you can find at CNR in Ontario, there’s a complete set of CNR operating rules for the province, as they would have appeared in the Spring of 1954:
CNR Operating Rules and Instructions

There’s a section on grade profiles for select lines, including the Port Rowan branch.

There’s information on many Ontario stations and Ontario subdivisions.

… And lots more.

Thanks, Jeff, for preserving this important information and making it available to others!
