Keeping busy

I’m always sad when I visit a blog I like that hasn’t been updated in months, because I worry that the author has lost enthusiasm for the subject.

So, just a quick note to say I’ve been busy – with work and other commitments, but also with the layout. The blog has suffered as a result. I am working on my tobacco kilns as time allows. In fact, I’m doing some of that work today and have reached a point where I should take some photos to share – so I’ll do that.

Stay tuned…

  1. Trevor, What a kind reminder! I too haven’t done much to the blog for the Aroostook Valley in N scale. Most of my modeling efforts lately have been focussed on trying to produce my first Ntrak module. Having a shelf layout is fun, but the Ntrak is what allows me to run long trains around in a circle – and part of my DNA needs that too!

  2. Assumed you were on vacation: took the opportunity to go through old posts – starting at the beginning.

Folks, if you haven’t done this for a while, it is highly recommended.

  3. While I’m always happy to see a new post (on your blog as well as others), I know all to well that life has a way of getting in the way. But thanks for letting us know that you’re still in the game!

  4. Good to hear from you. I was beginning to wonder and I’m glad all is well and it was just normal life that happened.

  5. Dear Trevor,
Flipside, some people spend waaaaaaaaay too much time at the keyboard, and nowhere near enough time at the modelling workbench. More than happy to excuse the lack of presence at the former, if it;s being spent constructively at the latter…

…truth be told, those followers who aren’t busy reading the latest blog posts may well be encouraged to get back to _their_own_ modelling workbenches, which can only be a win-win situation… šŸ˜‰

    Happy Modelling,
    Aim to Improve,
