While I have recently been focussing on the Southern Pacific in Proto:48, I have not abandoned the S scale Niagara St. Catharines & Toronto Railway. Far from it.
One of the advantages of building multiple layouts is one can switch focus between them as the mood strikes. Right now, my mood is “California” and “O scale”. Eventually my mood will flip back to NS&T in S. Or maybe it’ll slide over to the Great Western Railway in 7mm. It’s all good.
Meantime, my model of the NS&T’s Welland Avenue car barn in St. Catharines has moved. Previously, it was in a temporary location atop some bookcases in the centre of my layout room. Now, it’s on brackets along one wall.
I have a real history with the NS&T so I intend to finish the car barn scene then expand the layout. When the mood strikes. Stay tuned.
