I own the “themodelrailwayshow.com” domain but it was being used for the website for the now too-long-on-hiatus podcast of the same name that I produced and co-hosted with Jim Martin. I was paying a local ISP to host the podcast website – but managing the site was a hassle (I’m not a web guy) so it didn’t get done. What’s more, the hosting was costing me money.
So, this past month I’ve been transferring the domain over to WordPress and have linked it back to this blog. If you’re using the “themodelrailway.show” URL to find the blog, you’ll notice it forwards to “themodelrailwayshow.com”. I’ll leave it like that for the foreseeable future – the second domain doesn’t cost much – but you might want to update your links to the “dot.com” domain anyway.
Meantime, I realize I should build a new home for the podcast – the episodes are all still available via the Internet Archive. I’d like to keep the episode guides available and can probably do that on a new page as part of this blog.
I’ll add it to my “to-do” list.
