Leedham Mill

The Leedham Mill stood at the end of track in Port Rowan and was the main customer for the railway in the town in the era I’m modelling. I consider it one of the signature scenes on the line – and it’s the first thing visitors will see when they enter the layout room.

As I write this, we’re well into the stay-at-home orders for the COVID-19 pandemic, and I’ve been using the time to make progress on the structures that comprise the mill. These are almost entirely scratch-built.

There’s still some detailing work to do (isn’t there always?), but given that it’s taken me several years to tackle these, I’m pleased with the progress so far.
