As noted previously on this site, last month I presented a clinic to members of the Layout Design Special Interest Group in which I described my interest in the Niagara St. Catharines & Toronto Railway, how I started modelling it in S scale, and some of the design decisions I’m grappling with as I try to squeeze it into my generous (but still too small, because aren’t they all?) layout space.
I also discussed why I’ve carved out some of that precious space to model the Great Western Railway on a shelf in 7mm scale.
Attending the virtual clinic was only open to LDSIG members, but the group has now published the presentation on its YouTube channel and made it publicly available. If you were unable to attend, you can watch it here:
Thank you, again, to the members of the LDSIG for providing me the opportunity to share my thoughts with them (and now, with you). If you’re not a member of the LDSIG, it’s one of the best investments you can make in your hobby. Searching on “Layout Design SIG” will take you to their website.
