The story of the removable staging

Bydemill hosts North American equipment for a feature in Railroad Model Craftsman magazine.

In December I built a staging area for Bydemill – and while my layout is based on a UK prototype I knew the methods I used were scale- and prototype-agnostic.

So I popped some Southern Pacific equipment on the rails and wrote a short feature on it for Railroad Model Craftsman magazine. That feature obviously landed in the editor’s inbox at the right time, because it’s in the February, 2025 issue.

Thanks again to editor Otto Vondrak and the RMC team for sharing my work with their discerning audience!
