Canadian hobby events calendar

Someone asked on Facebook about train shows they could attend while travelling in Canada. This is a great idea: Canadians are fantastic modellers and these days, there are plenty of reasons to plan domestic trips.

However, from the answers on Facebook became clear that there’s no go-to source for this information. So – given that I have a website called “The Model Railway Show” – I decided to set up one.

The Canadian Railway Hobby Events page is a work in progress but over time I hope it helps fellow hobbyists connect with each other across the country. If you organize a train show, swap meet, open house, self-guided layout tour, convention, RPM meet, or other event that takes place in Canada, you can find information on the events page about how to get your information added.

Elbows up – except when visiting layouts: Then, please, keep them tucked in.
